Statewide tornado drill canceled amid thunderstorms Wednesday

The National Weather Service St. Louis Office has cancelled a statewide tornado drill due to thunderstorms. The drill, part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week, aims to test the state's readiness for life-threatening severe weather events. The NWS could not rule out multiple severe storms at the same time the drill was scheduled. Additionally, the weekly NOAA weather radio test has been cancelled.
