The Minnesota State Department has issued a Forecast First Alert for Thursday, April 23, due to the potential for severe storms that could create hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. The biggest threat is large hail and damaging winds. Most of Minnesota and Wisconsin is under a marginal risk of severe weather, with the greatest risk being in the Twin Cities and southern Minnesota. The weather will be monitored by the National Weather Service.
