Zendaya's parents, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman and Claire Stoermer, have been her fans since birth. Zendaya was born on Sept. 1, 1996, and is the only child of them, but has five older stepsiblings from her father's previous marriage. Although she has a tight relationship with both her parents, she keeps personal family matters private. Her mother filed for divorce in August 2016 after eight years of marriage.
