Former Southampton Village Mayor Jesse Warren has had sexual harassment claims against him dismissed by a judge in Dutchess County Supreme Court. Miranda Weber, who worked for Warren for two years before she resigned in 2022, claimed that his behavior towards her was "boorish" and "unpleasant". However, the judge dismissed these claims, stating that Warren's actions were more of a gender-neutral power trip than harassment. Weber also claimed that Warren refused to give her a 70% raise she requested three months after she was hired, from $50,000 to $85,000. However, a judge dismissed her claims largely because she failed to prove that men in Warren's office received more favorable treatment than she did.
