American hantavirus patients to quarantine in Nebraska, meet with CDC teams

The Centers for Disease Control (PS) is quarantining the Americans on a Dutch ship at the center of a hantavirus outbreak in Nebraska. The ship currently has 140 passengers and crew members. A team from the CDC will meet with the Americans at the Canary Islands and will quarantine them once they reach the U.S. They are expected to be transported to Nebraska Medicine's biocontainment unit.
