Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni are still heading to trial on their retaliation and defamation claims, despite efforts by a federal judge to resolve the dispute. The last-minute conference calls between lawyers for the two actors failed to reach a settlement. This comes after Judge Lewis Liman dropped 10 of Lively's 13 claims against Baldoni, his Wayfarer Studios execs and PR team. The allegations stem from a pre-paraedaed online smear campaign by Baldoni's team, which Lively has claimed is the real case. Despite efforts to resolve this issue, Lively remains committed to exposing systems and individuals that attempt to harm, shame, silence and retaliate against victims.
