Laura Dern is set to join the HBO show "The White Lotus" following the sudden departure of Helena Bonham Carter. Dern will reunite with her longtime collaborator Mike White, the show's creator, after working together on the cult HBO series "Enlightened" over a decade ago. The show's latest season is already in production in the south of France, with much of the action set to take place during the Cannes Film Festival. Other confirmed cast members for the show include Rosie Perez, Heather Graham, Kumail Nanjiani, Chris Messina and Sandra Bernhard.
