Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of the iconic Mario series and creator of numerous games, is on a mission to include Pikmin in all forms of the word. This follows the unexpected appearance of Pikmin on The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Despite only having only four mainline games in 25 years, Miyamoto has expressed a desire to include the creatures in all Nintendo products. He believes the setting of the Super Mario galaxy in the movie suggests having Pikmin appear as part of the world. He also mentioned that he wants to expand outside of video games to include more features in other forms of entertainment.
