Gang of seven who used drones for prison drops jailed

A group of seven men have been sentenced to five years and three months in prison for their involvement in a "serious, organised, and prolific enterprise" that involved supplying Class B and C drugs and transporting list A and B articles into prisons. The men would fly packages filled with contraband through cell windows of the prisons. They were subject to sustained surveillance by the police and prison authorities. At the centre of the conspiracy was an Afghan national who was granted leave to remain as a child in the UK in 2003.
