The WWE has announced that former school teacher and coach Bill Eadie and wrestler Barry Darsow, known as Demolition Ax & Smash, will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Prior to his worldwide fame as Demoder Ax and Smash, both men were teachers and coaches at East Liverpool City Schools and Cambridge Local Schools in Ohio. They were inductees in the WWE's wrestling world and won the WWE World Tag Team Championships three times between 1987 and 1988. Eadsie trained to become a professional wrestler under the name "Masked Superstar" and competed in professional wrestling territories throughout the US and Japan throughout the 1970s and early 1980s. The induction ceremony will take place on April 17 at Dolby Live at Park MGM as part of WrestleMania 42 week.
