Locomotive FC earns 4-0 road win over New Mexico United; Locos advance to 3rd round of U.S. Open Cup

El Paso Locomotive FC defeated New Mexico United 4-0 in the 2026 Derby del Camino Real at UNM Soccer Stadium, securing a place in the Third Round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The victory marks the first time in the derby that Los Locos have scored more than three goals against New MexicoUnited, marking the second consecutive season El Paso Locootive has eliminated New Mexico U from the LamarHunt U., and the second time in club history the team has advanced to the third round in back-to-back seasons. The team will return to action on April 4 against Las Vegas Lights FC.
