UNLV Final Four member Gerald Paddio dies at 60

Gerald Paddio, a key member of UNLV's 1987 Final Four team, has died in a car crash in Louisana, Louisiana. Padio was a junior college transfer and a key player for the 1986-87 and 1987-88 NCAA seasons, where UNLV won 65-8 and made a Final Four appearance in 1987. His three-pointer at the buzzer in 1986 against Temple is considered one of the greatest moments in UNLV basketball history. After retiring from playing, he moved to his home state of Louisiana.
