Former USC player, Matt Leinart, has refused multiple requests from the school to retire his No. 11 jersey, stating that he would only wear it for his son, a freshman quarterback at SMU or one of his younger sons, if they end up playing football. He also declined to accept a payment from a player with a large NIL deal.
