Treasury yields rise as Iran ceasefire optimism fades

Treasuries have risen as investors question the state of negotiations between the U.S. and Iran, with the benchmark 10-year Treasury yield more than 4 basis points higher at 4.3679%. The 30-year bond yield also increased by more than 2 basis points to 4.926%. Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, reportedly stated that officials were reviewing an American proposal to end the war but did not intend to engage in discussions. This follows a disappointing Treasury auction this week.
