Alexandra Latishev Salazar's latest film, "Sirens," has been produced by Vitrine Filmes España, the San Sebastián-based production-distribution arm of Brazil’s Vitrine Filmmes. The film is set to be produced by Costa Rica's La Linterna Films, director-producer Federico Montero, and Pacifica Grey, one of the most prominent arthouse distributors in Central America. This deal gives “Sirens” a foothold in Spain and Europe, the world’�s best arthouse market. The project also marks its first co-production with Costa Rica. The deal comes ahead of the IFF Panama's showcase of titles in development and post from female directors in the region.
