A 13-year-old boy is accused of killing Prada manager, Chiara Jaconis, with a statue he threw off a balcony in Italy. Prosecutors claim that the boy's parents failed to take precautions despite knowing about his habit of throwing items from the balcony. The boy's mom had confided in a childminder about her concerns about him throwing items. The 4.4-pound ancient Egyptian statuette fell approximately 32 feet before hitting Jacacen on her head, leaving her with severe injuries. The accused boy was cleared of any wrongdoing in relation to Jacen's death, but prosecutors have called for his parents to be charged with manslaughter.
