HBO has released the first trailer for its upcoming series, Lanterns, starring Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre, who play Hal Jordan and John Stewart. The series is set to premiere in August on HBO. The trailer depicts a tense relationship between Hal and John, who are investigating a small-town murder in Nebraska. The show is based on the DC comic characters from Green Lantern.
