Jennifer Gomez, a former professional cat burglar, has confessed to burgling hundreds of homes in Florida from 2007 to 2011. She used to melt gold into untraceable bars and sell the whole lot for around 60,000 dollars. The biggest score was often jewelry, which she found in a box and placed in a Ziploc sandwich baggies. She estimates that she burgled four or five homes in one afternoon or five days a week. Despite her arrest in 2011, Gomez was unable to distinguish which jobs were hers and which were not. She believes that many of the burglaries she experienced were hers.
