Ford Motor Company is recalling over 83,000 vehicles due to issues that could cause power loss or visibility problems. The first recall notice stated that 35,772 vehicles may experience a malfunctioning "Dynamic Bending Light" software system, which controls the way the headlights turn when driving around curves, causing glare and reduced visibility. In addition, 47,804 vehicles were recalled for a faulty exhaust gas recirculation valve. Owners can have the affected software update free at a dealership or through a virtual over-the-air update. The remaining recalled vehicles will receive initial owner notification on March 23.
