Spencer Strider, a former great pitcher who was known for his fastball/slider combination, has been struggling this season. He was arguably the best pitcher in baseball for two years and struck out 37.4% of opposing batters between 2022 and 2023. However, in 2024, he struggled with elbow pain and required an internal brace added to his UCL. Despite some flashes of his former self, Strider's fastball and strikeout rate were significantly lower than ever from Strider. Despite a strong start of the spring, there is no reason to believe Strider will regain his form. His price, SP26, is high enough to believe he can still impact Fantasy baseball three years into 2026.
