The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department is continuing its Recycle Right education program, which aims to help residents recycle correctly and keep the community's recycling program running smoothly. A new tag will be placed on residential recycling carts to clarify what items are acceptable in them and what do not. Since the program began, recycling contamination has been reduced by over 15%. The Recycling Guidelines: Don't place recyclables in plastic bags, and when in doubt, throw them out. The new educational tag is intended for general education only and no inspections will be conducted.
