Kansas State lands Belmont men’s basketball coach Casey Alexander as offseason changes begin

Kansas State has hired former Belmont men's basketball coach, Casey Alexander, for five-year, $17 million contract. This follows the departure of Jerome Tang from Kansa State earlier this season, which cited "recent public comments and conduct" as the reason for its decision. Alexander, who had previously coached at Stetson and Lipscomb, won three regular season titles and one conference tournament championship with Belmont. He was known nationally as a tremendous evaluator of talent and one of the best offensive minds in the college game.
