Severe thunderstorm warnings issued as strong storms, damaging winds move in

Strong thunderstorms are moving across New Jersey, prompting the National Weather Service to issue severe thunderstorm warnings in two counties. The warnings are effective until 8:45 p.m. Wednesday. The storms could potentially bring hail up to 1-inch in diameter and wind gusts up to 60 mph. However, a cold front moving in from the west may hinder these storms.
