‘Light drinker’ arrested for drunken driving: North Royalton Police Blotter

Police in North Royalton, Ohio, observed a speeding 2025 Toyota pick-up truck with expired plates and a man who smelled like alcohol on March 8. The driver, who claimed to be a "light drinker," admitted to having three beers and having a gun in the car. After failing a field sobriety test, he was arrested for drunken driving and was also charged with improperly handing a firearm and expired plates. The police also noted that a blue Ford Fiesta with only one working headlight and an expired registration was also found to be under the influence of alcohol.
