A trio of three individuals, including Fique Wamiq Ayub, 23, Jaiden Joseph-Anthony Mosquera, and an unidentified 17-year-old, have been arrested for allegedly yelling that someone had a gun at a Canadian movie theater in an attempt to gain social media clout. The arrests were made after police responded to a report of an armed person at Landmark Cinemas in Whitby, Ontario. Customers fled the theater in panic after several men yelled that someone was in possession of a firearm. The trio were charged with causing disturbance and mischief and were released from custody on an undertaking. No injuries were reported.
