Arizona State baseball has found success this season by adding 16 players to the transfer portal after losing nine to the 2025 MLB Draft. Coach Willie Bloomquist used the portal to rebuild after losing 9 players. Dean Toigo, who was named the 2025 Mountain West co-player of the year after hitting 18 home runs and driving in 74 RBIs at UNLV last year, has been consistently performing well this season. After adding 16 new players, the Sun Devils are currently 24-10 and making significant contributions to their team. Key players include Matt Polk from Vanderbilt and Cooen Niclai from GCU, who has been a standout player for the team this year. Despite a 617 ERA, Kole Klecker and Taylor Taylor from Chandler have been key players this season, with a quality start and a win against Oklahoma.
