St Cwyfan's Church off Anglesey, a tiny island off the Welsh mainland, is a popular spot for weddings and christenings due to its location being inaccessible due to high tides. Alex Spall, a 48-year-old bride from Liverpool, arrived on time, but requested her guests wear trainers not stilettos for the ceremony. The church's future was threatened in the late 19th Century when erosion led to some graves falling into the sea. The building was disused and disused due to another place of worship opening nearby. Eventually, a seawall was built to restore the structure, and it now only accessible at low tide.
