George Lucas' $1 billion Los Angeles museum, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, will open on Sept. 22 with roughly 20 inaugural exhibitions spread across over 30 galleries. The exhibition, "Star Wars in Motion," will include iconic Star Wars vehicles and artworks from the first six “Star Wars” films. The museum's collection spans over 100,000 square feet and includes over 1,200 treasures selected from a founding collection of over 40,000 works. The opening marks the culmination of nearly ten years in the making.
