Bill Self returning to Kansas: Hall of Fame coach coming back for 24th season after mulling retirement

Bill Self, a Hall of Famer who has coached for 23 years and won two national championships and 26 Big 12 titles, is returning for at least another season after considering retirement. His 648 wins in KU history are the most in K.U history, surpassing legendary names Phog Allen and Roy Williams. Self, who also has coached 31 players who've been drafted into the NBA, expressed his intention to continue coaching as long as he feels well enough to keep doing it. His decision to stay with Kansas adds to the uncertainty surrounding his position as coach.
