A school bus driver, 49, fatally injured a 9-year-old boy on his way to school in Brooklyn, according to police. The bus was on its way through Williamsburg when the driver made a left turn and struck the child as he crossed the street. The child was rushed to Woodhull Hospital, where he died. The driver initially returned to the scene but was informed of the accident after someone alerted him.
