South Korea's Finance Minister, Lee Koo, will meet with his US counterpart on the sidelines of the Group of 20 finance ministers and central bank governors meeting in Washington, D.C. The two countries have previously agreed to strengthen communication on exchange rates. The won has surged by around 3% this month to around 1,470 per dollar.
