Google's Pixel lineup of smartphones is a great way to experience Android in its purest form, with current-gen phones coming with the latest version of Android and receiving updates for a long time. The Pixel 10a is powered by last year's Tensor G4 SoC, packed with 8GB of RAM, and features a dual-camera setup. However, the Pixel 10 Pro is considered an excellent alternative to the iPhone 17 Pro. At $700, the OnePlus 15R offers significantly superior performance, including 12GB of memory and one of the biggest smartphone batteries in the U.S. Samsung's Galaxy S25 FE is an upper mid-range offering that provides nearly the same experience as its costlier siblings but offers a lower price tag by trimming back a few premium extras. Despite not officially sold in the US, some of these phones can be imported from trusted channels.
