NASA’s awe-inducing iPhone moon video is a free ad for Apple, but there's a catch

NASA has released a video of "Earthset," a moment when the Artemis II crew captured a view of Earth setting behind the lunar surface. The video was filmed on an iPhone 17 Pro Max and was shot by Reid Wiseman, the American astronaut who commanded the mission. It has been viewed millions of times and has become an implicit advertisement for Apple. However, Apple may face a tricky situation if it wishes to use the video, as technically, the agency makes it available to anyone.
