Tom Cruise has been confirmed to return for Top Gun 3, a sequel to Joseph Kosinski's 2022 blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick. The announcement was made during Paramount's CinemaCon presentation in Las Vegas. Paramount is set to acquire Warner Bros in a $111bn deal, creating Top Gun3 under the new larger company. Many celebrities have voiced their opposition to the deal, arguing that it prioritises the interests of a small group of powerful stakeholders over the broader public good. The new film, "Degegeges", will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
