Police in Russell Township, Ohio, responded to a report of a car being driven on a closed road due to downed electric lines on March 13, causing it to become stuck in the ditch. The driver was cited for driving on the closed road. Police also assisted firefighters with fallen trees and downed powerlines following a March 13 storm, including wires down on a residential property on Kinsman Road, a fallen tree with power lines on a Sugar Tree Lane yard, and an electrical transformer in the road on Sperry Road. Police closed roads until conditions were safe and notified CEI. An unidentified man from First Energy was found on March 18 by several residents who reported seeing him working on their property and replacing old electric meters.
