The Ohio Attorney General's Office has unveiled two major projects, including a new gun range for training and a new facility for evidence collection. The new facility will help police officers statewide improve their training and will help BCI modernize its process. Attorney General Dave Yost led the ribbon-cutting at the 18-thousand square foot climate-controlled facility in London, Ohio. The training will be more realistic and can take place year-round, day or night, and will teach officers not just to shoot, but to think. The attorney general also held a groundbreaking for the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation's new evidence collection building, which will expand storage for the increase in cold cases handled.
