South Asian culture platform Dialled In has launched a record label in partnership with Island-EMI’s The Collective, the A&R entrepreneur imprint within Universal Music Group U. London, dedicated to developing and breaking South Asian artists across genres. The label's inaugural signings include Ahadadream from Karachi and Excise Dept from New Delhi and Mumbai. The launch marks the culmination of an infrastructure the organization has built across five years in place. The co-founder, Dhruva Balram, stated that the partnership with The Collective is a statement about what is possible when you build from within the culture and refuse to compromise.
