President Donald Trump has blamed former President Joe Biden and his lax immigration enforcement at the U.S.-Mexico border for any Iranian "sleeper cells" that may have made it into the United States. The president stated that his administration had "eyes on" a number of suspicious individuals who he claimed crossed the border during the Biden administration. This comes after an alert was sent by the federal government to law enforcement offices across the country indicating that an encrypted message appeared to originate in Iran shortly after the launch of Operation Epic Fury and may have been designed to activate sleeper cells already in the US and other countries.
