Utah State's MJ Collins Jr. scored nine of his 20 points in the final minutes of the game, opening the crucial 9-0 run. Villanova's Bryce Lindsey scored a game-high 25 points. The Aggies' Mason Falslev led with 22 points and seven rebounds. The Wildcats' defense was largely dependent on Lindsey's strong shooting.
