Brian Zaklukiewicz has been named by the Branford Board of Ed as the District's New Athletic Director. The board noted that Zaklkiewicz is a "familiar and respected" member of the school community and has served in the Franklin School District as a teacher, Middle School Athletic Director, Dean of Students, and coach. He has also contributed to student-athletes' development as a golf, basketball, and baseball coach and played a significant role in curriculum development within the health and physical education department at Branford High School. Zaklakiewicz's vision for the future of Branford athletics will be centered on putting students first, enhancing programs, enhancing facilities, and fostering a culture of high standards and excellence.
