Paramount to combine HBO Max and Paramount+ into one streaming service after WBD merger

Paramount+ and HBO Max will be combined into one streaming service if regulators approve Paramount Skydance's acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, according to Paramount CEO David Ellison. The combined service would have about 200 million subscribers. No details have been released on how the combined service may be priced or what it would be named. The merger will also bring together TNT Sports and CBS Sports.
