TSA has reported that Houston's Hobby Airport had the highest number of call-outs at any airport during the partial government shutdown, with over 50% of its officers calling out due to the lack of work. This comes as Houston airports anticipate over 2 million travelers expected to fly into Hobby Airport and George Bush Intercontinental Airport for spring break. New data from TSA also shows that JFK Airport has the highest average callout rate of TSA agents during this shutdown, while JFK Airport is the highest. About 60,000 TSA officers working during the shutdown will receive their first zero-dollar paycheck this week. The travel disruption is expected to continue as the government shutdown continues.
