Happiest cities in the US revealed — we have good and bad news for New York, New Jersey and California

A study by WalletHub has revealed that California's Fremont, California, has been named the happiest city in the United States, with nearly 80% of households with an income above $75,000. The study also revealed that Los Angeles ranked as the 87th happiest city overall. New York City was ranked 59th with a total score of 57.63. In New Jersey, Jersey City ranked 31st and 16th respectively, with the lowest rate of depression and the second-lowest suicide rate. In California, Fremont also has the highest rate of life satisfaction, the seventh-lower depression rate and the fifth-highest average life expectancy in the country.
