Documentary filmmaker Marq Evans has created a groundbreaking new documentary, titled "Biggest Famous Bigfoot Film of all time," which claims to be an "incredible hoax." The film, which premiered at the 2026 SXSW Film & TV Festival, provides new evidence that the most famous Bigfoot film was not authentic. The film was originally shot by former rodeo star Roger Patterson and his pal Robert Gimlin and was responsible for launching the multi-million-dollar Bigfoot industry. It had been scrutinized by biologists, anthropologists, and even Hollywood costume examiners for its authenticity for decades. However, Evans discovered a canister of 16mm film that had been sealed away for over half a century, and its possible connection to the 1967 film. The new documentary reveals that the cast of characters in the film, including Bobironimus, who confessed to being the individual being the fake Bigfoot suit in the fake suit, had been wearing.
