Cleveland Cavaliers secured a fourth consecutive playoff appearance with a 118-111 victory over Golden State Warriors. The victory came after Donovan Mitchell was brought into the team from Utah in the summer of 2022. Despite leading by seven at halftime, Golden State managed to claw back the deficit with a 7-0 run in the second half. Cleveland responded with an 11-2 run, but Golden State's Draymond Green and Cavaliers reserve Dennis Schroder had a physical altercation during the closing period. The game ended in a two-possession game, with Mitchell scoring a team-high 25 points. The Warriors had five players in double figures, including Brandon Podziemski and Gui Santos. The team will return home to face the Indiana Pacers on Sunday evening.
