Jason Vincze, a self-proclaimed "journeyman," has opened Andiamo, a sailing-inspired space on First Avenue between East 88th and East 89th streets. The space, which had previously hosted Stella & Fly for nearly eight years, was renamed after Vincz's personal journey in finance and a stint as a sommelier. He plans to build on that legacy while adding his own stamp on the concept. The drink menu includes typical café fare, pastries from Eli Zabar, picklebrine and limoncello martinis, seasonal cocktails, and a rotating wine list. Vinczz says he aims to provide customers with great service at a good price and incentivize them to return.
