The Pittsburgh Pirates are set to introduce improvements and new food options at PNC Park ahead of their home opener against the Baltimore Orioles. Among the highlights are the Heavy Hitter Dog, a foot-long corn dog covered in mustard and pico de gallo, and the Boricua Dog. The team also plans to introduce grab-and-go service for fans instead of waiting for food. The Plaza at North Shore, an outdoor gathering spot with its own big screen and restaurant, has also been introduced. The Pirates president Travis Williams said the team was looking for ways to make food service faster as the game speeds up.
