The Carolina Panthers have restructured the contract of defensive tackle Derrick Brown to allow him to leave the club and raise $13.5 million in cap space for the upcoming season. The move is part of a larger effort to increase the number of players available for free. The team also plans to re-evaluate linebacker Trevis Gipson, who joined the team from a waiver during the 2025 season.
