Samsung is reportedly planning to introduce a smaller selfie camera and a larger screen for its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Fold eight Wide phones, according to an insider, Ice Universe. The selfie camera cutout on the main screen and front cover will be 2.5mm in both the Galaxy Fold 8 (Z Fold 8) and the Fold 8 Wide. The Fold 7, which went on sale in 2025, has a 3.7mm selfie camera. The Galaxy Fold 7 has a 10MP selfie camera sensor, but this is not expected to change in either the new models. The differences between the two devices are seen in thickness and size of the screen, with the Galaxy Z fold 8 Wide having a 4:3 aspect ratio and the Huawei Pura X Max having a 7.7-inch screen when unfolded. The two phones are reportedly set to go on sale this summer and could be released simultaneously this fall.
