Country singer Kenny Chesney has joined an independent label, Hey Now Records, co-founded by his manager, Clint Higham, John Esposito, and Kris Lamb, former top executives at Big Machine Records. The label is named after Chesney's boat, immortalized in the song "Happy on the Hey Now." It is described as a boutique environment where every artist receives specialized focus from the very beginning. Chesney expressed his eagerness to join the label and its potential to create a new form of artist development.
